The Rights of Nature

The nation of Ecuador has granted nature herself constitutional rights.  These rights were to put to a referendum to the people of Ecuador and they were ratified by an overwhelming margin.  This is real next age stuff happening in our present world.  I challenge my own nation of the United States to show the same degree of concern over the planet which supports us all.
